Our Review
The sign out front still says "Southernmost Motel",
but the Southernmost motel-hotel are one and the same.
With the Southernmost, you get full beach access,
a major plus that only the Southernmost and the Wyndham
reach can say on the quiet end of Duval.
Guests will find a clean and modern hotel, and this
may fit in with the more traditional traveler. It
is very popular with traveling families.
There are also two pools, two tiki bars, a full service
concierge, and immediate access to Duval. There are
127 rooms that come with an in-room safe and ample
parking included. More than a few other lodgings have
an additional parking fee.
The Key West Visitor's Center is located in the lobby
(say hello to Pete and company).
Who should stay here? Families, groups, weddings,
couples... anybody.
Customer Review
We have always loved Key West but have often been
disappointed by the hotel rooms. Not this time! The
room was quaint, clean and nicely appointed. We will
be back!
Customer Review
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which was
in a quiet location but close to everything. However,
the water pressure for the shower was more than disappointing!
Reviewers Note: water pressure is not something
the hotel can change, all water for Key West is pumped
in from over 100 miles away
Customer Review
The hotel is in a great location, close to the excitement
yet not noisy. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
It was a nicely appointed room and clean. We would
stay there again.
Customer Review
We enjoyed this hotel very much, the room we had was
a little small, but we didn't spend much time in it
anyway. Property has 3 very nice pools and is comfortable
1.25 mi. walk to Mallory Square. Its location is fairly
close to everything. We'll definitely stay again.
Customer Review
Spacious, very clean room with a nice decor. Exceptionally
clean pool. Access to the pools of the other 3 Southernmost
properties nearby. Right at one end of the Duval Street
? the main tourist trap in Key West. Ample parking
is a big plus in this town. Close to two small and
awful beaches ? for a nice beach drive or walk (30
min.) to the State Park. Good value for what we paid
(in August).
Customer Review
We visited Key West with another couple and stayed
at the Southernmost. The locations is great - at the
quiet end of Duval yet within walking distance to
everything you could possible need. Rooms are clean,
staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely
return.
Customer Review
The hotel is at the far end of Duval St., dining is
very limited. This may work well for lunch/dinner
but they should do something to offer some type of
breakfast. If they offered coffee and danish it would
be an improvement. The Tiki bar does have coffee but
not until 9AM. Other than that issue the stay was
GREAT. We will visit again but with some type of breakfast
plan. This could be a far better hotel with a little
effort !!!!
Customer Review
This was mine and my husbands third trip to Key West
and we finally found a hotel that we would come back
to. Great location! Located at the quiet end of Duval
street (southern end) and within walking distance
to restaurants, bars and the hotel beach. Hotel has
three pools to choose from with tiki bars that make
pretty good frozen drinks. Also has beach access and
restaurant/bar right on the beach. So happy we found
this place. We will be back again.
