Our Review
As I have written elsewhere, I do not write glowing
reviews about every property, nor do I judge a lodging
or its management by the sign out in the parking lot.
It is confusing to the buyer, is not helpful, and
borders on dishonest.
The Radisson manager snubbed our interview. He kept
referring to himself as "we" when he was
the only person within earshot, and talked over top
of me as I was saying good-bye... I was apparently
not leaving fast enough for him.
Hospitality, anyone?
This is a case of resting on one's laurels, which
is either lazy or arrogant or both. A sign in the
parking lot does not automatically make a hotel great
nor a hotelier hospitable.
This is supported by the poor customer reviews, copied
below.
If you want great rooms at the same price range,
an excellent alternative (literally within throwing
distance) is the Travelodge (link).
Be sure to get one of the suites, do not get a standard.
If you appreciate excellent hospitality from someone
who is actually grateful for your patronage, an excellent
alternative (again, literally within throwing distance)
is the Quality Inn (link).
Customer Review
This hotel smelled SO musty and moldy. I have stayed
in Radisson Hotels before and every time I have, (been
twice now and 1 too many) I have had a bad experience.
The room seemed dirty and at a chain, name brand hotel
you expect a higher level of quality. There wasn't
any here. Very disappointed!
Customer Review
We stayed here in May, 2 adults and 2 teenagers and
the room reeked from musty wet carpet. The front desk
staff was poorly trained. We have been to Key West
numerous times and this was by far the worst trip
ever.
Customer Review
The hotel, I felt, was just okay. The lobby is nice.
There is internet access, but only on their computer,
and the computer is in the bar area so you can smell
the smoke and hear all the other people carry on with
there conversations right there. I did not like that.
It is very nice, but it also keeps very busy.
