The La Mer and Dewey houses are located on South Street near the southernmost point. Both the La Mer and the Dewey houses and are owned by, and on the grounds of, the Southernmost Hotel.

There is a great deal of competition here for the term 'southernmost'. If it is in this neighborhood, it is the 'southernmost' something. Guests of the La Mer and Dewey should prepare for some level of noise from street activity.

There is an age restriction of 25 and older with these properties, and the entire grounds are nonsmoking except for the pool area. Families should consider staying at the Southernmost Hotel (link) where kids under 18 stay free with parents.
