Our Review
La Concha is not like many of the resort lodgings on Key West. Many are founded on the idea that a unique location will guarantee them a niche market (end of Duval, for example), and they do the best they can thereafter.

The Crowne Plaza La Concha does not rest on its laurels, its past, or a trick of location, it rises above that.

It has its own rich history, is located right on Duval Street, and gets glowing reviews. It is like the champion prizefighter that has nothing to prove.

It is one of the few places that I actively recommend for seniors. It is close to everything, has excellent services and dining, and with its height is able to rise above the street noise. For extra quiet, request an upper level room facing away from Duval.

The Crowne Plaza La Concha was built in 1925, and this where the presidents and dignitaries stay when they are in the area. It was even mentioned by Hemmingway in "To Have And Have Not".

We stayed here and loved it! Clean rooms and great location also. We rented the scooters from the back parking lot had a blast! A little expensive but you only go around once and you get what you pay for. Stay here you won't be disappointed. We are thinking of staying here for our 25th wedding anniversary in July.

We celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary at La Concha and had a GREAT time! The staff was wonderful, rooms clean and comfortable and the location could not have been any better! The concierge was friendly and recommended some wonderful activities!

Fantastic location, great rooms, great service. Walk to the back parking lot and rent a scooter, it does not get much better!

This is the most convenient location and a very nice place to stay. Very pricey, but so convenient. I've found the management to be a bit cranky during a couple of my stays, but for the most part a great experience.
