Our Review
We were entirely unimpressed by the Comfort Inn Key
West. It must be hard to be bland on Key West, but
nonetheless they have beaten the odds and succeeded
magnificently. To be fair, there is really nothing
wrong with mediocrity. After all, without mediocre
hotels, what would one then have to compare good hotels
to?
During the interview, the manager was suspicious
and unhelpful. The hotel itself looked like a processed
and homogenized version of what a distant executive
thought a Key West hotel should be. He must have had
bad brochures.
I really want to say nice things about this hotel,
but I am pretty hard pressed. Interviews, pictures,
and quotes were flatly denied, and the clueless manager
kept offering to have us use "a professional"
to take photos. Tired employees made themselves scarce.
I do not reward bad attitudes....
The Comfort Inn is only two doors down from the Quality
Inn, and they were absolutely fantastic people from
the get-go and the hotel is far better. Stay there
instead. Here is a link to them.
Say hello to Michael the manager there, he and his
staff will take good care of you. They will even say
hello back.

The soap tray in bathtub was all black moldy.
Customer Review
What a mistake to stay at this hotel! When we first
went in our room, there were still DIRTY towels in
the bathroom from the previous tenants! The next morning,
I made coffee & the whole coffee maker overfilled,
because it was the wrong size pitcher. My hand got
slightly burned from the hot coffee which spilled
over. When my husband & I told the front staff & showed
them the coffee maker, they were only concerned about
the coffee maker and not my hand. They were hesitant
about replacing the coffee maker. Bathroom and bedroom
dirty! Beware and do not stay here. Bad service...
