We recently got notice that the Blue Skies Inn is no longer in the system. Either they are scaling back, have been sold (which happens often on Key West), or is out of business (which also happens often) we do not know. We will keep the review up for the benefit of the owners, just in case....

There was no one about when we dropped by, so there is no review or hotelier interview. The customer reviews included below are very clear that this is a well-run establishment.

Keep in mind that almost all of the buildings on Key West had previous lives with previous uses. Even if a building was once a garage, the renovation quality, management style, and locale erase that.

Extra points go for pricing.

I once stayed at a great stone cottage in rural Pennsylvania, which was delightful. It was cozy, warm, clean and well laid out. I was surprised to learn upon checking out that its former life was as a chicken coop!

I can tell from the grounds of the Blue Skies Inn that someone has taken a great deal of time and money to make this building immaculate.

You can stay here without worry.

We had the most lovely stay at Blue Skies Inn in Key West. For the price you really cannot do much better than this, in my opinion. The setting is tropical. We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the porch in the mornings and lounging in the hammock in the evening.

We REALLY enjoyed out stay. We were more than pleased with the clean and well-maintained lodging and we will return! The staff did everything possible the make our stay here a great vacation. They treated us like royalty. We look forward to our next trip down.

I as anyone else read the traveler reviews before booking. This B/B has been dealt a bad hand. During our visit to the Blue Skies Inn the staff catered to our every need and the rooms are great by Key West standards and I do mean great. I most definitely recommend this Inn.

Quality and affordability! This little gem is outstanding. I will have occupied the smallest room for seven day?s and it feels like home. Please understand I am single and am some what of transient. I look forward to coming back. Great location for sitting on the front porch and people watching, chatting w/ other guest, enjoying a good cup of coffee in the morning and pondering what exactly happened during the previous nights escapades!

This was my husband and myself second time at Blue Skies Inn and let me say it gets better and better. The rooms are great, they have plenty of room, clean etc... and the staff goes out of there way to make you feel at home. The landscaping is lovely by anyone standards. Keep up the good work.

I recently stayed at Blue Skies Inn and it was a great stay. I was in the detached cottage and it was outstanding. I highly recommend this B/B.

We were stuck in what they called "cottage" but it was actually an enclosed garage which was dirty. Could barely fit in bathroom or shower. Management was beyond unprofessional, hanging up on me during a conversation. They do not advertise this room in the web site! Do not stay here...there are many other beautiful places to stay. We have Never been treated so terribly in my life. We don't want another to have a bad experience like we did. (We are not picky people!).

We stayed in the cottage which was really an enclosed porch. It was small, not very clean or in good shape. The closet and bathroom were too small for two people. The "lush tropical gardens" were in need of a lot of attention. At night it was noisy. The breakfast was "carb city" so we went out every morning. Also there was no place inside to eat. All in all this was a very disappointing place.
